Independent shelves deserve vetted American suppliers.

We're a small B2B sourcing firm in the Southern Tier of New York. For six years we've matched main-street retailers with the wholesalers and makers we'd want on our own shelves — and we stay through the first purchase order to make sure the freight doesn't go sideways.

What we actually do

Sourcing is a relationship business. We treat it like one.

Hand-matched sourcing

Every supplier we suggest is one we have personally worked with — no algorithmic guesses, no auto-generated lists.

Vetted American makers

We verify EINs, walk through sample orders and confirm lead times before we ever pass a contact along.

Net-terms support

We help new buyers negotiate net-30 or net-60 terms and stand behind first orders so suppliers feel safe extending credit.

Freight that makes sense

We coordinate LTL freight class, pallet counts and consolidation so your first wholesale shipment isn't your most expensive one.

How it works

Four steps. Usually four weeks.

Most engagements start with a 30-minute discovery call and end with goods on your loading dock about a month later. We don't push for long contracts because we don't need to — buyers come back when the work is good.

    Tell us your shelf

We start with a phone call. What you sell, what's working, what you wish you could carry. No pitch deck — just a conversation.

  2. 02

    We do the search

We pull from our network of 300+ vetted suppliers and surface 4–6 that match your price points, lead times and minimums.

  3. 03

    Samples & references

We arrange sample orders and put you in touch with two existing buyers per supplier so you can ask the awkward questions.

  4. 04

    First order — together

We sit in on the first PO. We catch the freight class mistake, the misfiled tax cert, the missing W-9, before they cost you money.

A note from the founder

"I started WICE because I watched too many friends in retail get burned by online directories that called themselves 'matchmakers.' We're not a directory. We pick up the phone, we know the makers personally, and we stay until your first crate is unwrapped."

From the people we work with

Buyers and makers talk straight here.

"
Amy found us a pottery line out of Ithaca that has become 14% of our gift revenue. She also caught a misfiled resale cert before it cost us. Worth every minute on the phone.

"
I was burned twice by a directory site before I called WICE. Every supplier they've sent us has shipped on time, in full, on the first order. That's not normal — that's vetted.
Buyer, garden center, Steuben County
"
I'm a maker, not a salesperson. WICE booked me into three retailers I'd never have reached on my own and helped me write a line sheet that doesn't look like a spreadsheet.
